A Taste of Home

Mobas African Cuisine brings real African taste to Randallstown, MD, and we cook the way our families always have, with fresh ingredients and a lot of care. Every plate that leaves our kitchen is halal and prepared daily, because we believe food tastes best when it is made from scratch rather than left sitting. We opened our doors on July 29 after six years of learning these recipes, and we run this place ourselves as an individually owned restaurant.

Our menu leans on the dishes people ask for again and again. The smoke jollof carries that deep, charred aroma that reminds folks of home cooking over an open flame. Our egusi is simmered slow and served alongside soft fufu, so you get the full comfort of the pairing. The grilled tilapia fish comes off the grill seasoned and tender, and it stays one of the most requested plates we make. We put the same attention into each order, whether it is a quiet weekday lunch or a bigger celebration.

We want your visit to feel easy. You can walk in during our open hours or call ahead to reserve a table. We also take orders on DoorDash and Uber Eats if you would rather eat at home. On Fridays, you can book breakfast for the following Saturday, which we serve between 10 AM and 12 PM for anyone who wants to start the weekend with something warm. For larger catering orders, we ask for advance notice so we can plan and cook it right.
